Liquidity memo with an AI agent

Goal: once a month, an AI agent drafts a liquidity memo for management from live COMMITLY data. A person reviews and sends it.

You need: AI Connect (connect your AI tool), an AI tool or agent framework with MCP support, and a COMMITLY user whose permissions fit the memo’s audience.

1. Connect the agent to the COMMITLY MCP server with a user that may see the categories the memo covers, and nothing more.

2. Give it the brief. For example:

   Draft this month’s liquidity memo for the management team. Use COMMITLY: current balances, the forecast for the next 13 weeks with its lowest point, open receivables over 30 days past due, and the largest deviations between plan and actuals last month. Keep it to one page, in EUR, and list the assumptions.

3. Let it work. The agent reads accounts, daily forecast balances, open items and plan budgets through the MCP tools and writes the draft.

4. Review and send. A person checks the figures and the conclusions, then sends the memo.

The AI proposes, you approve. Keep the agent read-only for reporting tasks; enable write tools only where the agent should change plans or data, and keep confirmations on.
